The Captivating Culinary Delights of Saint Germain Catering

October Is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is the month each year in which we celebrate the work towards finding a cure, provide support for women undergoing breast cancer treatments, and celebrate excitement of a loved onewho has beaten breast cancer. But did you know that breast cancer can affect dogs, too?

Saint Germain Catering recently partnered with Penn Vet’s Shelter Canine Mammary Tumor program, which aims to find a cure for canine breast cancer. The VA catering company uses a special line of cupcakes to raise awareness and funds, which ultimately led to Saint Germain Catering offering a $5,000 donation to Penn Vet during the month of August!

Pennsylvania’s Shelter Canine Mammary Tumor program gives free treatment for dogs affected by breast cancer and spreads awareness about how breast cancer forms and affects canines. Saint Germain Catering, wowed by the incredible work of this program, created a special line of tasty cupcakes. 100% of the sales from the cupcakes goes directly to the tumor research program.

Saint Germain Catering patrons were equally impressed by this simple and yet powerful opportunity to fund research on mammary tumors, actively taking part in the effort and helping the company toraise significant funds.

Breast cancer awareness month is an excellent opportunity to consider all the ways that breast cancer affects our lives and the lives of man’s (and woman’s) best friend. If you love cupcakes and want your funds to do something good in the world, contact Saint Germain Catering today about how you can help find a cure for mammary tumors in dogs. Eating something you love and donating to a cause you believe in has never been easier than now.
